The process to obtain a Delaware CDL may seem like an overwhelming process, but truck drivers not only in Delaware but throughout the country have a big responsibility since they are essentially the backbone of the American economy. Truck drivers transport more than 70% of everything we consume in the United States.

As a professional Delaware truck driver, you will no doubt become well acquainted with the major cities and population centers throughout the state. The largest city in Delaware is Wilmington and is part of the greater Delaware Valley metro area. The city is situated close to Baltimore, Maryland and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Depending on if you are an in-state truck driver or regional driver, you may also become familiar with the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. The Mid-Atlantic is comprised of several small east coast states and encompasses a wide array of major cities, including Baltimore, Washington D.C., Wilmington, and New York City.

To prepare for the 2-step Delaware CDL exam, it is recommended that you attend an accredited truck driving school in the state. We can help you find the best schools and training facilities near you that best meet your career wants and needs.
